Following the success of Wine Track™ 2011, 2013, 2015, 2017 (France) and 2016 (Spain), our previous scientific and professional meetings, that 6th edition of Wine Track™ proposes to position the challenges of the traceability of wines and spirits in Portugal.
It's time to go to the historic center of Porto, famous for its Port wine and for its location at the center of the Vinhos Verdes production area, to participate in the 2018 Wine Track™, a rare event that will open our minds in the future.
Traceability is considered in the broadest sense and concerns viticulture as well as the winemaking process, the product itself, its packaging and its distribution.
Wine Track™ 2018 will focus more particularly on the isotopic analysis of wine, the traceability of cork and glass bottles. Several lectures in the conference program are dedicated to these items
All the actors of the wine-growing and wine-making industry are concerned: wine-growers, oenologists, cellar masters, wine merchants, shippers and distributors. Wine Track™ is a privileged venue for wine- growers, scientists, industry professionals, equipment manufacturers and services providers to meet and exchange in a dedicated exhibition space. All of them should leave that meeting with a clear and realistic vision of the situation and more particularly about the currently available tools to guarantee the authenticity and traceability of the products of the sector and to anticipate new issues
